Ministries

The ministries of the church are the working parts of the body of Christ. All members at The Temple are encouraged to participate in one or more ministries in order to help keep the body fine-tuned and to encourage unbelievers to come to Christ. See the functioning ministries at The Temple below.

Deacon & Trustee Board

The deacons and trustee ministry functions to aid the pastor by overseeing and conducting the business of the church. In addition, all members of The Temple are assigned to the watch care of one of our deacons.

Mother Board

The church mothers are to provide an example for the women of the church of what Godly women should be like. They provide wise counsel, lead, and inspire the church body to be about the upbuilding of Christ's kingdom.

Beautiful Feet Missionary Ministry

The members of this ministry are striving to aid those who are in need. As the scripture has commanded that we are our brother's keeper, we are continually seeking new ways to make a difference in the lives of those in our community and beyond. Music Ministry

The psalmist David said to "sing unto the Lord a new song." The adult and youth choirs of The Temple are doing just that during the church's worship services and in the community. To join the choir, you may contact either of the following:

Youth Ministry

The Temple Youth Ministry provides various oppportunities for our young people to praise God and be "trained up in the way they should go" [Proverbs 22:6]. We pour into them and stir up their gifts through the Youth Choir, Youth Praise Team, Youth Usher Board, Youth Sunday School, and Youth Bible Study.
